The purpose of the category Rent Buzz: Appointment booked is to determine if the appointment attempt was accepted.

Appointment for a firm date / time
- Agrees to a specific time.

- Agent set appointment for a specific time.
- Example call – Caller: “I’m interested in that 1 bedroom you have listed online. I’d like to stop in and check it out sometime between 5:00 and 7:00.” // Agent: “I’ll put you down for 6:00.” // Call ends.
- Select this option if the caller agrees to an approximated time within a 45 minute time range.

Appointment for a soft date / time
- Caller loosely agrees to visit the office without providing a specific day and time for the appointment.
- Example call - Caller: “I’m looking for a one bedroom.” // Agent: “We have a couple. Want to come out and see a tour?” // Caller: “Yeah, I might drive out there this weekend.” // Call ends.
- Example call – Caller: “Do you have any two bedroom apartments available in June?” // Agent: “I believe we have two, and we have some three bedroom as well.” // Caller: “I’m going to come in sometime this afternoon.” // Call ends.
- Select this option if the caller says he might visit the apartment.
- Select this option if the caller approximates a time frame for visiting the building that is longer than a 45 minute time range.
- Example call – Caller: “Do you have any studios available on the top floor?” // Agent: “Yes we do. Want to come take a look?” // Caller: “Yeah, I’ll be there between 10:00 and 11:00.” // Call ends.
Did not accept or agree to an appointment
- Select this option if an appointment is offered but the caller never actually, officially agrees to come out.
- Example call - Caller: “I’m looking for a one bedroom apartment under $700 that is available now.” // Agent: “We have some of those. You should come out and take a look. // Caller: “Let me talk with my wife first.” // Agent: “Just let us know. We’ll be here until 6:00.” // Call ends.
- Select this option if the caller turns down an appointment request.
- Example call - Caller: “I’m looking for a three bedroom.” // Agent: “We have a couple. Want to come out and see a tour?” // Caller: “No, not today.” // Call ends.
- Example call – Caller: “I’m calling about the new apartments.” // Agent: “Are you interested in taking a look at our complex?” // Caller: “I’m just doing some research; I don’t want to drive out yet.”
An appointment was not discussed
- Select this option if NO appointment request is made by the agent or caller.
- Example call - Caller: “I’m looking for an apartment that is available next month.” // Agent: “Let me check in our system and I’ll give you a call back.” // Caller provides contact information and the call ends.
Correction, Call did not represent a leasing opportunity
- Call is not about leasing an apartment.
- Select this option if the call is from someone asking about the status of an application, down payment, or guarantor form that they have already submitted. Calls of this nature should not be considered potential new residents since they are already in the process of getting into a lease with the property.
- Caller is a current resident.
- Call is for maintenance.
- Caller is not interested in leasing an apartment
- Caller has a general question unrelated to an apartment
- Caller ONLY asks about hours of operation.
- Call disconnects before any contact information is shared.
- Left on hold.
- Reached voicemail.
- Caller never reached a live, qualified employee/agent.
